Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Must have active OTA licensure in state(s) of practice.
• Ongoing continuing education to maintain licensure and certification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular screening of residents to determine best intervention
• Perform treatment plans following established plan of care
• Interpret and communicate evaluation findings, plans, and recommendations to residents and families
• Establish individual resident therapy schedules with team
• Conduct therapy according to plan and ensure proper documentation and billing of OT services
• Perform other duties as assigned to effectively treat patients
• Comply with CMS documentation standards of practice daily with point of care documentation.
