Job summary

Evolve Therapy Services in Ahoskie, NC seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for an in-house Skilled Nursing Facility. Full-time, part-time, or PRN positions available to deliver patient-centered OT services in collaboration with a supervising therapist.

You will screen residents, develop and follow treatment plans, document and bill for services, and contribute to a multidisciplinary care team. Must hold active OTA licensure and an Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Active OTA licensure in state(s) of practice.
• Ongoing continuing education to maintain licensure.

Responsibilities

• Screen residents to determine best intervention based on scope of practice.
• Perform treatment plans and follow short- and long-term goals defined by supervising therapist.
• Interpret and communicate evaluation findings, treatment plans, and recommendations to residents, families/caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Establish individual resident therapy schedules with team members.
• Conduct therapy according to established treatment plan and ensure proper documentation and billing of occupational therapy services.
• Perform all other duties as assigned to effectively treat patients.
• Comply with CMS documentation standards of practice daily with point of care documentation.
