Job summary

Riverside Health System is seeking a registered nurse with wound care expertise to assess and manage ostomy and wound care patients. You will diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate care, and serve as a resource for staff, patients, and families.

The role includes coordinating the Outpatient Ostomy Clinic, providing education, and leading the Skin Integrity Team. Requires RN licensure and 2 years wound care experience, with CPR/BLS certification.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Virginia or compact state.
• 2 years Wound Care experience (Preferred)
• CPR/BLS Certification - American Heart Association/AHA/ARC
• Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred for role advancement

Responsibilities

• May place orders for ostomy, wound and skin care supplies.
• Maintains products for RRMC and coordinates with vendors.
• Coordinates the Outpatient Ostomy Clinic operations.
• Provides ongoing education to RRMC clinical staff and serves as preceptor to nursing students.
• Chairs the Skin Integrity Team for RRMC and documents care in the EMR.
• Ensures safety practices per National Safety Goals and quality initiatives.
