Job summary

The YMCA of Metropolitan Denver seeks an Out-of-School Time Program Lead to guide a team in creating a safe, engaging environment for youth at Twin Lakes, Colorado. You will help deliver high-quality customer service and build relationships with families, under the direction of the Site Director.

You'll develop daily activities, support staff, manage behavior, ensure participant safety, and model YMCA values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility, while working flexible hours including

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3 months (460 hours) experience working with children under 13
• Experience in youth-centered educational environments preferred
• Strong group management, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
• CPR and First Aid certifications required within 30 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing, planning, and implementing daily activities in accordance with YMCA philosophy and licensing requirements
• Observe behavior, activities, and engagement for groups of up to 15 youth
• Proactively ensure safety and well-being through risk management and policy adherence
• Integrate YMCA character development into daily programming
• Attend trainings and staff meetings and follow dress code and procedures
