Job summary

Farnsworth Group is seeking an OSP Project Manager in one of the posting locations below. Posting locations include Lisle, IL; Frisco, TX; Charlotte, NC; or St. Louis, MO.

You will join our Energy & Utility Group within the Telecommunications Team to plan, draft, design, permit, and administer construction of telecom and utility projects. The role requires a minimum of 4 years of OSP design experience, with knowledge of Legal Mandate, IFP, Fiber Overbuild, FTTH or LightGIG, plus strong

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of OSP design experience.
• Experience in Legal Mandate, IFP, Fiber Overbuild, FTTH, or LightGIG projects – including field data gathering, design and permitting
• Positive work ethic and excellent communication skills
• Ability to manage time while working on several projects concurrently in office or field/remotely

Responsibilities

• Manage client relationships and projects
• Support development of proposals – including project scope, schedule and budget
• Complete design and posting of telecommunications projects
• Review projects for accuracy, quality, and adherence to client specifications
• Plan and oversee work production to meet project deadlines and budgets
• Oversee work completed by technical and professional production staff
• Provide direction and support for permit plans and work prints drafted in AutoCAD, Microstation, Bluebeam, etc.
• Provide office support for site visits and participate in site visits which may include overnight travel
