Job summary

IES Communications seeks a Project Lead - OSP to act as on-site coordinator and crew supervisor for voice and data installation projects. You will ensure project completion meets safety and quality standards while maximizing staff efficiency.

You will guide inspections, oversee radios/air monitors, and coordinate with the Project Manager to ensure productivity and budget compliance. Expect to produce as-built docs and lead safety meetings as required.

Qualifications

• Must read blueprints and conduit maps.
• Minimum three years in telecommunications or related technical field.
• Must be able to terminate fiber.
• Must have at least six months supervisory/managerial experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, MS Project).
• Able to travel within branch/regional territory as needed.

Responsibilities

• Act as on-site coordinator and crew supervisor for voice and data installation projects.
• Guide daily inspections and confined space equipment.
• Oversee radios and air monitors for projects and maintain site safety.
• Lead major project crews and provide training; ensure adherence to safety and quality guidelines.
• Coordinate with Project Manager to meet productivity and budget requirements.
• Produce as-built documentation and final project reports.
