Job summary

Technibus, Inc. is seeking a Project Lead - OSP to serve as on-site coordinator and crew supervisor for voice and data installation projects. You will ensure job completion per quality and safety standards while keeping staff productive and efficient.

The role involves leading crews, managing safety, coordinating with the Project Manager, and delivering accurate as-built documentation and final project paperwork. Physical readiness for field work is required.

Qualifications

  • Reading blueprints of conduit maps is required.
  • Self-motivated, positive in approach, professional and able to drive process improvements.
  • Must withstand prolonged physical activity including lifting, standing, climbing, and kneeling.
  • Outdoor work in heat and other weather conditions is expected.

Responsibilities

  • Guide daily inspections and manage confined space equipment.
  • Oversee radios and air monitors for projects.
  • Keep the worksite clean and organized with hazards minimized.
  • Lead major project crews, provide training, and conduct weekly safety meetings; escalate issues to the Project Manager when needed.
  • Determine best practices for multiple vendor products (e.g., MAXCELL, Innerduct, cabling).
  • Coordinate with the Project Manager to ensure productivity, timely completion, and budget compliance.
  • Provide as-built documentation and update final documentation per project specs; invoice customer.
  • Perform quality checks and prepare red-lined as-built drawings.
  • Serve as main on-site customer contact with the OSP Superintendent; attend facility/construction meetings as required.
  • Complete IES paperwork on time (timesheets, transfers, orders, etc.).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.
  • Complete other responsibilities as assigned.

Job Summary

The Project Lead - OSP will act as the on-site coordinator and crew supervisor for voice and data installation projects. The Project Lead - OSP's task will be to ensure job completion according to company and customer quality and safety requirements while maintaining the efficiency of the staff assigned to the project.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • The Project Lead - OSP will guide daily inspections and all confined space equipment.
  • The Project Lead - OSP will oversee all radios and air monitors for projects.
  • The Project Lead - OSP will Keep the worksite clean and organized free from unnecessary hazards.
  • The Project Lead - OSP will consistently run major project crews; assume responsibility for effective performance and provide necessary training; assume responsibility for adherence to Company and customer safety and quality guidelines and hold weekly safety meetings; initiate performance related communications and escalte to Project Manager if necessary.
  • The Project Lead - OSP will determine best practices for multiple vendor products including MAXCELL, Innerduct & various types of cabling.
  • The Project Lead - OSP coordinates with Project Manager to ensure productivity, job completion and compliance with project budget.
  • The Project Lead - OSP will provide "as built" documentation used to identify all materials, labor, equipment and tooling used on projects, invoice customer, show proof of satisfactory completion of project and provide or update final "formal" documentation as required by the project specifications.
  • The Project Lead - OSP will perform quality checks; prepare red-lined as-built drawings.
  • The Project Lead - OSP serves in conjunction with the OSP Superintendent as the main on-site customer contact for questions and/or concerns; attend facility and constructions meetings when required.
  • The Project Lead - OSP will fully complete all IES paperwork accurately and on time (timesheets, material transfers, work orders, change orders, tool transfers and others as required).
  • The Project Lead - OSP performs work consistently demonstrating a detailed level of technical knowledge; troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.
  • The Project Lead - OSP will complete other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications
Physical and Mental Requirements
  • The OSP Lead Technician must be efficient in reading blueprints of conduit maps.
  • The OSP Lead Technician must be self-motivated, positive in approach, professional and help create, develop and implement project process improvement(s).
  • The OSP Technician I must withstand prolonged and repeated: lifting (including overhead); standing; climbing; kneeling; reaching; crouching, crawling, pulling and shoveling.
