Job summary

Mountain Ltd in Ellensburg, WA is seeking an OSP Inspector to ensure underground, buried and aerial plant facilities meet current standards through inspections and contractor corrections. The Inspector will document inspections, audits, and pole transfers electronically, and communicate via email and cellular phone.

Some tasks may require manual inspection using printed spreadsheets. Familiarity with mapping/GPS tech is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in NESC inspections or working on an aerial cable line crew.
• Experience in wooden pole ground line inspections.
• Proficient in OSP Construction Standards.
• Familiar with the National Electric Safety Code.
• Computer skills: Windows XP, Excel and Outlook.
• Familiar with internet usage and email.
• Strong communication and time management.

Job Description:

The OSP Inspectorwill be responsible to ensure that all the client’s underground, buried and aerial plant facilities meet the current standards through inspections, and corrections work performed by contractors. The Inspector Will document all inspections, audits, and pole transfers electronically, and be expected to communicate via email, and cellular phone. At times it may be necessary to perform inspections, audits, and transfers manually by the use of printed spreadsheets. Familiarity in using mapping/GPS technology.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience performing NESC inspections or experience working on an aerial cable line crew
• Previous experience performing wooden pole ground line inspections.
• Must be proficient in OSP Construction Standards
• Familiarity with the National Electric Safety Code.
• Computer experience:
• Microsoft Windows XP, Excel and Outlook
• Familiar and comfortable with internet usage, and web page browsing.
• Good communication skills.
• Personal time management and organization skills.
• Construction contractor management skills.
• A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel on short notice.

Pay: $32/hour, commensurate with experience
