Job summary

Ramapo Communication Corp seeks a Construction Manager – OSP to lead fiber deployment in the Omaha, NE area. You will oversee field operations, ensure schedules, safety, and quality, and coordinate with contractors, inspectors, and clients on multiple OSP projects.

Mid-level experience (1+ year) in Outside Plant construction is required. Strong planning, communication, and leadership will drive project success and adherence to codes and standards.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of OSP fiber construction practices (aerial/underground/bore).
• Familiarity with ROW regulations and utility coordination.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings, fiber routing, and as-built docs.
• Proficiency in Procore, Sitetracker, and MS Office Suite.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Strong leadership and organizational abilities; multi-project management.
• Basic GIS knowledge and field data collection tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day field operations of OSP fiber construction projects.
• Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and utilities for timely completion.
• Review and interpret engineering plans, drawings, and specs.
• Ensure adherence to codes and safety regulations (OSHA, NESC).
• Conduct site visits to verify work quality and scope compliance.
• Track progress and report in construction management software.
• Mitigate risks by resolving field issues.
• Manage budgets and schedules; submit change orders.
