Job summary

DCOMM Inc. is seeking a Construction Manager to lead multiple OSP construction projects, including fiber, aerial, and underground work. You will balance office duties—scheduling, documentation, reporting—with hands-on field leadership to ensure deadlines, quality, and budget adherence.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in leadership within a fast-paced construction environment, with strong OSP expertise, project management skills, and a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a leadership role managing supervisors, field crews, and subcontractors.
• Strong background in broadband Outside Plant (OSP) construction, including fiber optics, aerial, and underground work.
• 5+ years of experience in broadband OSP construction with multiple projects.
• Experience leading field teams and ensuring safety and excellence.
• Proficiency in scheduling, resource allocation, and project execution.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and safety audits.
• Customer relationship management and proactive communication.
• Proficient with MS Office and project tracking tools.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Financial awareness with KPI tracking (L2R).
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Compliance with regulations and company standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple OSP construction projects, ensuring deadlines, quality, and budget adherence.
• Provide on-site leadership to field supervisors, crews, and subcontractors.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and resource plans.
• Proactively address delays to ensure timely completion.
• Optimize allocation of personnel, vehicles, materials, and equipment.
• Serve as the primary contact for customers and provide updates.
• Monitor field work to meet specifications and company standards.
• Enforce safety protocols and OSHA compliance on sites.
• Maintain and update project documentation and redlines.
• Keep project tracking software and customer platforms up to date.
• Manage subcontractor performance and vendor relations.
• Handle additional duties as needed.
