Job summary

The Extend Group is seeking an OSHC Service Assistant for St Mary's Primary School, Malvern. This casual role offers Tuesday and Thursday work, 12% super, and extra retention payments. You will help deliver science experiments, sports, and arts, while ensuring a safe, inclusive environment for children.

Applicants should have or be studying toward a relevant qualification (Certificate III to Master’s). A Working With Children Check, First Aid/CPR, and related training are preferred; sessions

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Early Childhood or related teaching care qualification.
• Current studying toward approved qualification acceptable.
• Valid Working With Children Check and First Aid/CPR certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging activities and experiences (science, sports, arts) for children.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive and positive environment for all kids.
• Prepare healthy snacks to sustain energy levels during activities.
• Collaborate with OSHC team to deliver integrated programs and communicate with families.

Job Details & Role

About your service: St Mary's Primary School, Malvern.

Hourly Rate: $36.01 - $45.71 Per Hour + 12% Super.

Additional payment of $1.58 - $1.97 per hour available under Worker Retention Payment Scheme.

• Days Required: Tuesday and Thursday. Two days per week required.


• After School Care: 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.


• Vacation Care:Up to 30 hours per week.


• Contract: Casual.


• Professional development sessions are paid training sessions, and Retention payments are above award.
