Job summary

John XXIII College in Claremont is seeking an OSHC Service Coordinator for four days a week, 15 hours. You’ll plan engaging activities, ensure safety and inclusivity, and prepare healthy snacks while managing daily operations with our Programs Engagement Manager.

The role requires a Diploma to Master level in Early Childhood or related field, a WWCC, First Aid/CPR, and willingness to obtain required certificates.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor/Master in Early Childhood, Primary Teaching, or School Aged Care, Youth Work, or related field.
• WWCC and safety certificates required (First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma).
• Willingness to obtain any additional required certifications.

Responsibilities

• Plan and program engaging activities and events.
• Lead a safe and inclusive environment for all children.
• Prepare healthy snacks to support energy levels.
• Collaborate with Programs Engagement Manager on quality assessments and ratings.

About your service: John XXIII College, Claremont

Hourly Rate: $47.81 to $50.00 Per Hour + 12% Super.

Additional payment of $2.07 to $2.15 per hour available under Worker Retention Payment Scheme.

• Days Required: Monday to Thursday. Four days per week required.
• After School Care: 2:15 PM- 6:00 PM.
• Total Hours: 15 hours per week.
• Contract: Casual.
• Professional development sessions are paid training sessions, and Retention payments are above award.

• Chef it up: Whip up healthy, tasty snacks that keep the energy levels high.
• Champion Quality: Work with your Programs Engagement Manager on Assessment & Ratings with the full backing of our compliance experts at our unit TEG Compass.
• The Community Connector: Ensure every stakeholder is heard and valued while building successful, integrated OSHC programs.
• The Clockwork Catalyst: Manage the day-to-day "business" of the service, ensuring everything runs like clockwork.
