Job summary

YMCA Virginia Outside School Hours Care service is seeking a passionate, purpose-driven Coordinator for a 6-month contract. You will lead a dedicated team of educators, create engaging child-led programs, and help build inclusive, vibrant communities.

Oversee day-to-day operations, ensure safety and compliance, and connect with families, schools and local networks while supporting professional development and a positive workplace.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Children’s Services or related ECEC or Teaching qualification (or studying towards).
• Demonstrated experience in children’s programming and service operations.
• Strong communication, leadership and time-management skills.
• Valid Paid Blue Card (or willingness to obtain).
• Current First Aid and CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain).
• Commitment to creating a safe and inclusive environment for all children.
• Familiarity with the National Quality Framework.

Are you ready to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a passionate, purpose-driven Coordinator to join our YMCA Virginia Outside School Hours Care service on an exciting 6-month contract.

As the Coordinator, you will lead a dedicated team of educators, create engaging programs for children, and play a key role in building inclusive, vibrant communities.
