Job summary

US Foods is seeking a forklift operator to perform material handling in a warehouse setting in Manassas, VA. The role includes operating forklifts, transferring stock between dock and storage, and maintaining safety and accuracy on the floor.

You will be responsible for moving pallets, replenishing slots, and reporting damage while adhering to OSHA standards and company procedures. Training and benefits are available from day one.

Qualifications

• Able to read and write legibly; basic mathematical skills.
• OSHA forklift certification is required.
• Able to understand Voxware commands.

Responsibilities

• Transport pallet loads of products from dock to correct warehouse slot using powered industrial equipment.
• Replenish pick slots from reserve slots to maintain inventory levels for night shift selection.
• Perform safety checks on battery, brakes, lift controls, and fire extinguisher.
• Record all product, equipment and warehouse damage.
• Maintain clean aisles by removing debris from floor and racks.
• Follow safety policies and practices at all times.
