Job summary

usfoods is seeking a forklift operator to move pallet loads from dock to slots and assist in replenishing inventory. The role requires safe operation of powered equipment, adherence to multi-temperature warehouse conditions, and vigilant documentation of any damages or safety issues.

Day-to-day duties include performing equipment checks, maintaining clean aisles, and following safe handling procedures. Valid OSHA forklift certification is required, high school diploma preferred for advancement

Qualifications

• Able to read and write legibly; basic mathematical skills; must understand Voxware commands.
• OSHA compliant Forklift Certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transports pallet loads from dock to correct warehouse slot using powered industrial equipment.
• Replenishes pick slots from reserve slots to maintain inventory levels.
• Performs safety checks on battery, brakes, lift controls, and fire extinguisher.
• Records all product, equipment and warehouse damage.
• Maintains clean aisles by removing debris from floor and racks.
• Follows safety policies at all times.
