Job summary

Estes-Express-Lines is seeking an OS&D Clerk to investigate shortages, overages, and damaged freight including Hazmat. You will coordinate with Service Center Operations, Safety, Compliance, and Customer Care to resolve issues and answer customer questions about shipping orders and pricing.

Applicants should have a solid understanding of LTL operations, be able to lift up to 70 lbs, wear safety footwear, and work under high-paced conditions. Prior OS&D experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be knowledgeable in general LTL operations; OS&D experience preferred.
• Must wear boots/safety footwear.
• Knowledge in customer care, billing, pricing, tracing, dispatching, weights & inspection.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve all OS&D issues including HazMat materials.
• Identify freight for high value shortages and determine shipment/PRO.
• Coordinate with Service Center Operations and other departments.
• Resolve customer queries regarding shipping orders and pricing.
• Maintain accurate receipts and records for OS&D freight daily or weekly.
