Job summary
Mercyhealth East - Janesville is seeking a Certified Orthotist to evaluate patients, design and fit orthotic devices, and educate patients on use. You will coordinate with physicians and staff to integrate orthotics with overall care.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and/or 2–3 years related experience.
- Licensure to practice Orthotics and/or Prosthetics in Wisconsin/Illinois.
- CPR certification required or present.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and physician referrals to determine orthotic management.
- Take history and observe posture and anatomy.
- Develop written treatment plans based on data.
- Select materials and cast measurements; create device layouts.
- Fit, adjust and educate patients on devices for comfort and function.
- Repair and maintain devices; document outcomes in chart.
- Supervise assistants and provide staff training and education.
- Coordinate care with physicians and other practitioners.
