Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Review referrals, patient condition, and medical records to determine orthotic management.
• Obtain patient history and subjective components of the evaluation.
• Plan and prepare written treatment plan based on evaluation.
• Take casts, measurements, and model modifications for devices.
• Evaluate devices, adjust fit and function, and instruct patients in use.
• Supervise assistants and plan staff trainings.
• Coordinate with physicians and other practitioners to optimize orthotic care.
