Job summary

Mercyhealth in Janesville, WI seeks an Orthotics/Prosthetics professional to evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and design, fit, adjust, and maintain orthotic devices. You will educate patients on proper use and collaborate with physicians to integrate orthotics with overall care.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, licensure, and CPR certification. You will supervise staff and contribute to teaching and community outreach while participating

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or two to three years related experience.
• Licensure to practice Orthotics and/or Prosthetics in Illinois, Wisconsin, or both if required.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Review physician referrals and patient records to determine orthotic management.
• Observe and evaluate posture, palpate structures, and plan treatment.
• Design, fit, adjust, and maintain orthotic devices and educate patients.
• Coordinate with physicians and staff; supervise assistants and technicians.
• Deliver lectures and training to staff, students, and community groups.
