Job summary

Mercyhealth is seeking an Orthotics & Prosthetics professional to evaluate referrals, plan treatment, and manage devices. You will cast, adjust, and educate patients for optimal fit and function, while collaborating with physicians and care teams.

The role emphasizes leadership of technicians, ongoing training, and coordination across clinic locations within Wisconsin and Illinois. Licensing in Orthotics/Prosthetics and CPR are required, with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
License to practice Orthotics and/or Prosthetics in Wisconsin or Illinois; CPR certification.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business materials; strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

Review referrals, patient condition and records to determine orthotic management.
Plan and prepare written treatment plans; cast measurements and device layouts.
Instruct patients in use of orthopedic devices and provide education materials.
Coordinate with physicians and staff; supervise assistants and technicians.
