Job summary

Hanger, Inc. in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a Fabrication Technician to fabricate orthotic and prosthetic devices with high precision. You will stay abreast of new fabrication techniques and use appropriate equipment to ensure optimal fit, function, cosmetics, and workmanship.

The role focuses on hands-on fabrication across multiple device types, adherence to safety rules, and contributing to a clean, organized lab. A technical degree or relevant experience supports qualification for this position.

Qualifications

• Experience with fabrication of orthotic/prosthetic devices and repairs.
• Knowledge of materials and fabricating techniques in O&P.
• Mechanical ability and hand-eye coordination for lab tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform fabrication and repair of orthotic and/or prosthetic devices, according to Company quality and quantity standards.
• Occasionally (Several times a week) trains Associate Fabricators and peers
• Occasionally (Several times a week) acts as an informal team lead within their workstream.
• May Assist or Perform ordering and receiving and other inventory tasks as assigned.
• Works on Three - Four device types within a general Orthotic or Prosthetic workstream.
• Maintain 5s to ensure for a safe, clean and orderly work environment.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and OSHA requirements.
• Adhere to HIPPA and other regulatory training issued by Hanger, Inc.
