Responsibilities

• Creates and modifies orthotics and evaluates patients of all ages
• Designs and adjusts plans of care with outcomes and discharge goals
• Educates patients, families, and staff using effective methods
• Performs exams to determine PT diagnoses and treatment needs
• Documents care according to clinic policies and EMR standards
• Transfers patients safely and uses support personnel appropriately
• Communicates progress and recommendations with referring providers
• Completes department-specific tasks and qualifies for program requirements
