Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 3 years of office experience; medical setting preferred.
• Surgical scheduling experience and/or LPN license and experience a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; EMR experience a plus.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle for needed travel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate surgeries, book pre-/post-op appointments, and act as liaison between patients and providers.
• Schedule surgeries and manage related paperwork and documentation.
• Handle appointment rescheduling and correspondence with referrals and lines of communication.
• Obtain patient information including medical necessity and necessary authorizations.
• Communicate with case managers regarding care as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
