Job summary

OrthoCincy is seeking a Medical Assistant to contribute to high-quality orthopaedic care in a patient-centered environment. You will interact with patients professionally, perform clinical duties, and help manage records and scheduling across locations in Kentucky.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and medical certification; CPR/AED and First Aid certifications are preferred. Weekend and overtime may be required as department needs dictate.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical certification preferred.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients and visitors in a respectful and professional manner.
• Perform clinical duties such as order entry, phlebotomy, injection draws, wound and dressing care.
• Prepare the clinical area and patients for providers, and update patient information.
• Maintain HIPAA and OSHA compliance and ensure certifications are current.
• Clerical duties including paperwork, faxing and scheduling patient appointments.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, providers and staff.
