RWJBarnabas Health is seeking an RN for the Orthopedics Unit at Community Medical Center in Toms River, NJ. This full-time, day-shift position offers an hourly pay range of $48.29 to $65.06 and requires an active NJ RN license and BLS certification.

The RN will perform comprehensive patient assessments, administer medications, document in EPIC, and collaborate with physicians to ensure high-quality care. Excellent communication, teamwork, and ongoing professional development are valued in this

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing strongly preferred, or to be obtained within 5 years of hire.
• Prior patient care experience and comfort with EMR systems (EPIC) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and recognize clinical changes; intervene early and advocate for patients.
• Provide safe, evidence-based medications, treatments, and hands-on care.
• Serve as a clinical partner to physicians and advanced providers to support timely decisions.
• Give clear, compassionate education to patients and families for next care steps.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the EMR to promote continuity and safety.
• Contribute to interdisciplinary rounds to improve communication and transitions of care.
• Support a collaborative team culture with shared accountability and outcomes.
• Pursue ongoing professional growth through access to continuing education and clinical ladder opportunities.
