Speare Memorial Hospital is seeking a Provider Practice Manager for Plymouth Orthopedics and Sports Medicine to lead practice operations and provider relations. You will coordinate daily workflows, support staffing and onboarding, and work with hospital partners to optimize access and efficiency.

The role requires a healthcare administration background, supervisory experience in ambulatory care, and NH RN licensure is preferred. A comprehensive benefits package accompanies this pivotal position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health care administration, business administration, or nursing.
• Progressive healthcare management and supervisory experience in ambulatory medical practice.
• Experience supervising and developing staff.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily tasks, schedules, and workflow with clinical and administrative staff.
• Assist the Director of Provider Practices in developing short- and long-term work plans.
• Monitor provider templates, appointment availability, and patient wait times to optimize access.
• Identify operational inefficiencies and implement sustainable improvements.
• Oversee office supplies, equipment maintenance, and inventory; ensure office doors open/close per procedure.
• Cover registration and prior authorization functions when needed.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with providers; support recruitment and onboarding.
• Develop staff schedules, provide training, and conduct annual evaluations.
• Prepare budgets, reconcile daily transactions, and monitor financial performance.
• Improve patient experience from referral through follow-up care.
