Job summary

CHRISTUS Health in Santa Fe seeks an Assistant Manager to oversee day-to-day clinic operations, budgeting, scheduling, payroll and staff development. You will collaborate with the Clinic Manager, Operations Director, Medical Lead and leadership to implement programs that enhance stability and quality of care while achieving patient and provider satisfaction and meeting budgeted financial targets.

Qualifications

• Two years of clinic operations experience.
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office Suite applications (E-mail, Scheduler, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Ability to read and write in English; bilingual in Spanish preferred.
• Medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Creates an environment of clear responsibility, authority, autonomy and accountability for staff performance.
• Sponsors interdisciplinary collaboration and cross-functional teamwork.
• Assists with training, overseeing and evaluating staff.
• Helps manage clinic budget, data accuracy, and financial analyses; manages revenue-cycle tasks.
• Prepares department-based Policy & Procedures and implements policies across sites.
• Maintains manuals, MSDS, and safety procedures.
• Audits staff time records and schedules for accuracy.
• Prepares, coordinates and schedules evaluations and calendars.
• Orders office supplies.
• Supports compliance with Joint Commission requirements.
• Maintains employees' files and certifications.
• Identifies and implements continuous improvement initiatives.
• Improves satisfaction among patients, physicians, staff and administration.
• Completes special projects and writes reports.
• Orders clinical equipment and supplies to meet patient needs.
