Job summary

CHRISTUS Health is seeking a Practice Supervisor to assist the Practice Manager with clinic operations, budgeting, and staff supervision. You will ensure data accuracy, manage financial reporting, and handle complex customer service issues while maintaining provider and staff communications.

The role requires experience in healthcare administration, supervisory responsibilities, and strong knowledge of coding and reimbursement concepts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; degree preferred.
• Minimum two years clinic supervisory experience.
• Strong communication and reporting skills; CPT/ICD coding knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Train and orient staff according to policy.
• Assist with annual operating plan and budget.
• Monitor clinic expenditures within budget.
• Order medical and office supplies.
• Supervise cash handling and deposits; reconcile batches.
• Coordinate patient payments and payment plans.
• Manage medical records release to insurers and providers.
• Support hiring, promotions, and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Approve and correct time cards; process invoices.
• Ensure quality patient care and effective staff communications.
• Resolve patient complaints promptly and courteously.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality.
