Duly Health and Care is seeking a Medical Assistant in Orthopedics for the Westmont/Lombard area. Join a multidisciplinary team supporting physicians, imaging, therapy and other clinical staff as you care for patients with musculoskeletal injuries.

The role offers a fast-paced, varied environment with opportunities to gain specialized orthopedic experience through in-office procedures, care coordination, and collaboration with imaging and surgery teams.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of Medical Assistant program or health sciences coursework required.
• Active Medical Assistant certifications (AMT, NCCT, NHA, ARMA or AAMA) preferred.
• CPR certification required or willingness to obtain on hire.
• Phlebotomy certification within 90 days of hire may be required.
• Prior MA/CMA/CNA/EMT experience or two years in a medical office assisting with patient care.

Responsabilidades

• Greet patients and assist with registration, scheduling, measuring vital signs and health history.
• Provide support to physicians during examinations, minor office surgeries, dressing changes and other first aid procedures.
• Certified medical assistants may assist with immunizations or injections.
• Assist patients with prescription requests, address pharmacy callbacks, provider orders, update charting and filing.
• Conduct onsite lab testing to include: EKG, pulmonary function, blood glucose and urine pregnancy tests.
• Maintain clean, warm and inviting examination rooms for patient visits.
• Provide excellent customer service exemplifying CARE values.
• Some travel to assist other local clinics may be required.

MA/CMA/CNA/EMT experience
