Midwest Physicians Administrative Services, LLC dba Duly Health and Care is seeking a Medical Assistant in Orthopedics for Westmont/Lombard. This full-time role offers a supportive team and exposure to a dynamic orthopedic department.

Expected duties include patient rooming, vital signs, assisting with procedures, and coordinating care with imaging, therapy, and surgery teams. Competitive benefits and a $1,500 sign-on bonus are included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of Medical Assistant educational program or higher education courses in health sciences or related experience required.
• Active medical assistant certification through AMT/NCCT/NHA/ARMA/AAMA CPR certification or willingness to become certified upon hire required.
• Phlebotomy certification may be required within 90 days of hire.
• Prior MA/CMA/CNA/EMT experience or two years in medical office assisting.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and assist with registration, scheduling, measuring vital signs and collecting health history.
• Provide support to physicians during examinations, minor office surgeries, dressing changes and other first aid procedures.
• Certified medical assistants may assist with immunizations or injections.
• Assist patients with prescription requests, address pharmacy callbacks, provider orders, update charting and filing.
• Conduct onsite lab testing including EKG, pulmonary function, blood glucose and urine pregnancy tests.
• Maintain clean, warm and inviting examination rooms for patient visits.
• Provide excellent customer service in line with Duly Health and Care CARE values.
• Some travel to assist other local clinics may be required.
