Job summary

Duly Health and Care is seeking a Medical Assistant for the Orthopaedics team in Lombard, IL, with duties covering patient greeting, registration, vital signs, and assisting physicians during exams and procedures.

The role requires completion of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent health sciences coursework, CPR certification (or willingness to obtain), and prior MA experience. Travel to other clinics may be required occasionally.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of Medical Assistant educational program or higher education courses in health sciences or related experience.
• CPR certification or willingness to become certified upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and assist with registration, scheduling, and vital signs.
• Support physicians during examinations, minor procedures, and dressing changes.
• Assist with immunizations or injections as needed.
• Handle prescription requests and pharmacy callbacks, update charting and filing.
• Conduct onsite lab tests such as EKG, pulmonary function, glucose, and urine pregnancy tests.
