Trinity Health IHA Medical Group in Michigan is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant to support providers in delivering high-quality patient care. You will work directly with patients, assist with exams, procedures, testing, and care coordination.

You will collect histories, vital signs, administer medications as directed, communicate results to patients, and contribute to education and disease management programs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with accredited MA training and externship.
• Completion of an MA internship or MA externship is preferred.
• EMT, Paramedic, or Certified Athletic Trainer credentials are considered.
• Maintains MA re-certification CEUs if credentialed.

Responsabilités

• Welcome and prepare patients for appointments.
• Collect and document patient histories and vital signs.
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, testing, and specimen collection.
• Administer medications and perform diagnostic testing as directed.
• Communicate test results and instructions to patients.
• Provide patient and family education to support better outcomes.
• Coordinate care between patients and providers.
• Support quality improvement and disease management programs.
