Job summary

Qualifications

Requires high school diploma or GED and MA program preferred.
Current MA certification from AMT/NCCT/AAMA/NAHP/NHA or EMT/paramedic licensure plus BLS.
One year of relevant experience required; two years preferred.

Responsibilities

Escort patients to exam rooms and prep for physician assessment.
Record and maintain patient's data in medical chart.
Assist physician with phone requests from patients and medical staff.
Perform physician-requested ancillary and/or surgical procedures (excluding IV meds).
Maintain equipment and supply inventory.
Deliver safe, confidential patient care and comply with laws and policies.
