Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to assess and manage patient care using the nursing process, with supervision of LPNs/CNAs and collaboration with the health care team. The unit emphasizes evidence-based practice and documentation.

Requirements include an accredited nursing degree, RN licensure in the state of practice, and BSN completion within four years unless exempt by experience. BLS-HCP certification is required or obtained soon after hire.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is required.
• ASN/ADN must complete a BSN within four years from date of hire unless 15+ years RN experience in acute care.
• Current RN license in state of practice is required.
• BLS-HCP certification on hire or within 60 days (ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate).

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate care with health team members and supervise LPNs/CNAs.
• Participate in clinical conferences and follow evidence-based guidelines and documentation.
