Job summary

Intermountain Healthcare Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive patient care on the 8 Med/Surg unit, including assessment, planning, and evaluation using the nursing process and evidence-based practice.

The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, with BSN to be completed within four years if currently ASN/ADN, and active RN license in the state of practice; BLS certification on hire. Relocation bonus may be offered for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is required.
• BSN must be completed within four years for ASN/ADN holders, unless 15+ years acute care RN experience.
• RN license in state of practice required; current BLS-HCP certification or to be obtained within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Assess, recognize, and address patients' psychological and physical needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate care with health team.
• Oversee care delivered by LPNs and CNAs; participate in clinical conferences.
• Communicate compassionately and effectively with patients and families.
• Follow hospital guidelines, policies and documentation standards.
