Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care on a Med/Surg unit. The RN will coordinate with the health care team to ensure high-quality outcomes and oversee LPNs and CNAs as needed.

The role requires a BSN within four years of hire (unless 15+ years RN acute care experience). Current RN license in state of practice and BLS-HCP certification are required or obtained within 60 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is required.
• RN must complete a BSN within four years from date of hire unless 15+ years RN experience in acute care.
• Current RN license in state of practice; BLS-HCP certification required on hire or within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate with health care team to ensure quality of care.
• Oversee care delivered by LPNs and CNAs and participate in clinical conferences.
• Follow hospital, regulatory and professional guidelines, policies and procedures.
