Job summary

Intermountain Health's St. Marys Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, CO seeks a Registered Nurse to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care on the 8 Med/Surg unit.

You will use the nursing process, coordinate with the health care team and support families, with emphasis on evidence-based practice and patient safety. Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is required.
• Current RN license in the state of practice is required.
• BSN degree must be obtained within four years of hire unless 15+ years RN acute care experience.
• Certification: BLS-HCP upon hire or within 60 days; ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate with health care team to ensure safe, effective care.
• Oversee care delivered by LPNs and CNAs; participate in clinical team conferences.
• Foster quality of care with patients and families in mind; adhere to guidelines and documentation.
