Job summary

Intermountain Health seeks a Registered Nurse for the 8 Med/Surg unit at St. Mary’s Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado. The RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care, coordinate with the health team, and supervise LPNs/CNAs in a dynamic Med/Surg setting.

This unit treats diverse medical and surgical patients; evening, night, and weekend shifts with shift differentials are available. A BSN within 4 years is required unless 15+ years of RN acute care experience.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is required.
• ASN/ADN must complete BSN within four years from hire unless 15+ years of RN acute care experience.
• Exemptions apply for RN with specific prior employment as of given dates.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate care with health team and supervise LPNs/CNAs.
• Follow hospital policies, guidelines and documentation standards.
