Job summary

Zimmer Biomet in the United States is seeking a field-based sales professional responsible for attaining sales goals in the assigned area. You will drive growth through in-person interactions with current and prospective customers and mentor less experienced team members.

You will build strong relationships with key surgeons, implement a local sales plan, coordinate educational events, and support referrals while adhering to all laws and company SOPs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, plus 4 years’ proven orthopedic sales experience.
• Experience in medical device industry is a plus.
• Ability to mentor others based on sales track record.

Responsibilities

• Builds strong relationships with key surgeons in the assigned area and covers orthopedic procedures with clinical proficiency and business acumen.
• Develops and executes a local sales plan, manages customer activity, and reports progress to sales leadership.
• Plans, coordinates and executes local educational and sales events to augment the business and hit sales goals.
• Supports referral network of key surgeons and educates referrals on Zimmer Biomet products.
