Zusammenfassung

Baptist Health is seeking an Orthopedic Technologist to support physicians and clinicians in delivering standard orthopedic care. You will assist in preparing rooms and patients for exams and procedures, and apply/remove orthopedic devices under supervision.

The role requires NBOTC or ROT certification and BLS, with potential additional duties within the scope of the role. Prior ortho clinic experience is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of Orthopaedic Technician training and certification required.
• Minimum of one year experience in an Orthopaedic clinic required.
• NBOTC or ASOP ROT certification required, BLS required.
• If not certified at hire, NBOTC or ASOP must be obtained within 12 months of hire.

Aufgaben

• Provide technical support to Physicians, PAs, and NPs in orthopedic care.
• Assist in preparing rooms and patients for examinations and procedures.
• Apply and remove common orthopedic devices and appliances.
• Work under supervision of the Physician or licensed practitioner.
