Zusammenfassung

Baptist Health Orthopedic Department is seeking an Orthopedic Technologist to support physicians and clinicians in delivering standard orthopedic care. The role includes room preparation, assisting in examinations and procedures, and applying/removing common orthopedic devices under supervision.

Candidates must complete an Orthopaedic Technician training and certification program, have NBOTC or ROT certification, and a current BLS.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Orthopaedic Technician training and certification required.
• Minimum one year of experience in an Orthopaedic clinic preferred; DME and casting experience preferred.
• NBOTC or ASOP/ROT certification and BLS required or to be obtained within 12 months.

Aufgaben

• Provide technical support to physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners.
• Prepare rooms and patients for orthopedic examinations and procedures.
• Apply and remove common orthopedic devices and appliances.
• Assist in routine procedures under supervision.
