Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certificate or Associate's degree in Surgical Technology or military training accepted.
• Sterile technique and proper handling of instruments required.
• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Prepare case carts for the next day’s surgery schedule and communicate missing items.
• Pass instruments and supplies to the surgeon during procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and monitor for breaches.
• Care for and prepare instruments, trays, and equipment for procedures.
• Inspect and maintain instruments and equipment and report issues.
