Job summary

• Experience with medical record software and EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Handle all incoming calls for the surgery department and direct questions to the correct facility or staff.
• Guide patients through intake, gather medical charts, and verify insurance information.
• Schedule surgeries, ensure room and equipment availability, and maintain inventory.
• Coordinate pre-op and post-op visits and communicate updates to departments and patients.
• Prepare billing and input post-surgical data into records; ensure regulatory compliance.
