Qualifications

• Certification within 2 years: IAHCSMM or CSPDT.
• Experience as Central Sterile Technician or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follows manufacturer guidelines for steam and low-temperature sterilization and documents accordingly.
• Follows decontamination and disinfection instructions for instrumentation and endoscopes.
• Inspects and assembles surgical instrument kits and case carts.
• Adheres to OSC CSS policies and AAMI guidelines.
• Maximizes productivity and demonstrates time management.
• Contributes to department growth and supports peers.
• Delivers prompt quality service to patients.
• Expedites turnover of surgical instrumentation.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
