Concord Hospital's Sterile Processing Department is seeking a dedicated Central Sterile Supply Technician for evening shifts. This role performs decontamination, set assembly, and sterilization of surgical instruments and flexible endoscopes for patient care across Concord Hospital and affiliates, using the instrument tracking system to document steps and maintain quality.

Qualified applicants will have a high school diploma or GED (or one year related experience), and must obtain IAHCSMM CSPDT

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED or one year related experience/training.
• Certification required within 2 years: IAHCSMM CSPDT.
• Experience as a Central Sterile Technician or related field preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Follows manufacturer guidelines for steam and low temperature sterilization.
• Follows decontamination disinfection procedures for instrumentation and flexible endoscopes.
• Knowledge of instrument kit and case cart inspection and assembly.
• Adheres to hospital Sterile Processing policies and AAMI guidelines.
• Maximizes productivity and demonstrates time management.
• Delivers prompt quality customer service for patients.
• Expedites turnover of surgical instrumentation.
• Performs job-specific requirements and other duties as assigned.
