Job summary

Concord Hospital is seeking a per-diem Sterile Processing Department Technician responsible for the decontamination, set assembly and sterilization of surgical instruments and flexible endoscopes for patient care across Concord Hospital and its affiliates.

The role uses the instrument tracking system, applying knowledge daily as a resource for peers and departments and contributing to the growth and success of the department, including prompt turnover of instrumentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or one year of related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Follows manufacturer's guidelines for steam and low temperature sterilization and documents using the Steris IQ tracking system.
