Requires BLS and NBSTSA or NCCT credentials, plus experience in ortho spine procedures. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, and 2 years of OR experience or an associate/technical degree.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, plus 2 years cumulative OR tech experience or an associate/technical degree.
• BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire date.
• Surgical Tech credentials NBSTSA or NCCT required within specified timelines.
• Complex orthopedic hardware and spinal instrumentation experience preferred.
• On-call rotation and weekday day shift.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and organize the operating room with spine and orthopedic trays, implants, power tools, and sterile solutions.
• Assist the surgical team in safely transporting, positioning, and draping patients on specialized frames to ensure safe access to the spine and joints.
• Pass complex orthopedic hardware, spinal instrumentation, biologic materials, and medications during procedures.
• Maintain precise counts of hardware, trial components, sponges, and delicate instruments throughout high-volume cases.
• Maintain stringent aseptic technique across long procedures to prevent contamination.
