Azspineandjoint seeks a Surgical Technician for a fast-paced ambulatory surgery center in Midland, TX. Must be certified and have 2 years minimum OR experience; CPR/BLS required. Responsible for instrument care, sterile setup, patient prep, and room turnover, under physician and nurse supervision.

The role includes maintaining equipment, assisting with positioning, and ensuring safety checks before procedures. Evening/weekend shifts may apply.

Competenze

• Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program.
• CST certification, or grandfathered under state regulations.
• Prefer 1–2 years clinical OR experience; may accept 0–2 years in related field.
• Must be certified in Basic Life Support.

Mansioni

• Prepare and maintain medical equipment and instrumentation for procedures.
• Set up sterile fields and assist with instrument pass and supplies.
• Follow facility regulations and assist with patient prep and transfers.
• Perform post-procedure room turnover and equipment restocking.
• Assist with specimen handling and inventory management.
• Decontaminate, sterilize, and test equipment as required.

Formazione

ACG surgical technologist program (accredited)

CST certification

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
