Job summary

Stryker is seeking a Clinical Specialist to enhance orthopedic surgeries globally by supporting robotic Mako and manual procedures. You will assist with pre-operative planning, case prep, system setup, and real-time workflows to ensure safe, accurate outcomes.

Role involves hands-on training, shadowing experienced team members, and participating in cadaver labs and customer training events. On-call availability evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum required degrees or equivalent experience in clinical field.
• Clinical experience preferred (nursing, PT, surgical tech, athletic training, etc.).
• Fluency in written and spoken English required.

Responsibilities

• Gain solo coverage competency for manual and robotic orthopedic procedures through hands-on training.
• Assist surgeons with pre-operative CT-based planning, implant sizing, and positioning.
• Support case preparation: instrumentation checks, equipment setup, OR readiness.
• Troubleshoot technical issues in the operating room.
• Participate in labs, education programs, and product demonstrations.
• Build relationships with surgeons, OR staff, and cross-functional teams.
• Complete required trainings and certifications.
• Provide on-call coverage during evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Education

Bachelor’s degree

Associate degree with 4 years of professional/related experience

High school diploma with 6 years of professional/related experience

Clinical experience
