Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, FL is hiring a Registered Nurse for a 52-bed orthopedic unit opened in 2018. You will assess patients, implement care plans, administer medications, and educate families. The team focuses on trauma and elective surgeries with multidisciplinary coordination.

The role requires an RN license, BLS and ACLS, Associate degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred). PRN/Per Diem schedule with Day shifts; strong English communication and computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

RN license required; BLS and ACLS certifications required.
Associate degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
Develop and implement individualized care plans; regularly evaluate and revise plans.
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders; monitor for adverse reactions.
Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care.
